Chickasha Area Arts Council Accepting Applications for its Programs
The New Year marks the beginning of another exciting and active year for the Chickasha Area Arts Council (CAAC) as it continues to sponsor and facilitate a variety of activities and events in which the community can participate.
The FREE Saturday Morning Art Classes for children, ages 4-12, are fun, creative and well attended. Classes are taught by talented instructors who are trained and experienced in ‘The Arts’ and who enjoy sharing creative and artistic ideas and techniques with youngsters. The classes are 1-1½ hours in length and held on the first and third Sat. mornings.
CAAC’s summer arts day camp for 8-12 year olds, ArtScope 2017, is scheduled for June 5-16 and will be held again on the USAO Campus. Campers will have opportunities to learn and develop skills in a balanced program that features theatre, visual arts, dance and musical theatre. Additional information and application forms for ArtScope 2017 will be available in a few weeks.
